FDA Approves New Insect-Based Flu Vaccine

Insect Based Vaccines
EVDN
The FDA have just recently approved a new vaccine that uses insect proteins instead of egg proteins in order to synthesize their toxic effects. How mad is the world we live in where it's considered valid science to eject people with foreign DNA in order to give them a sense of security. With all the outbreaks in the past revolving around different bacteria's and viruses when you looking deeper into the matter we only find that vaccinated people make up the lion's share of those cases. How many new diseases or illnesses and allergies will come from these insect-based proteins that have been placed in the vaccines to stimulate an immune response?

A new kind of insect-based flu vaccine has been approved for adults by the Food and Drug Administration. It's the first version that is not grown in eggs, meaning people with egg allergies can receive it. The FDA announced that the vaccine, called FluBlok and produced by Protein Sciences Corp, is different from other vaccines, as it can be made more rapidly in the event of a pandemic "because it is not dependent on an egg supply or on availability of the influenza virus," Dr. Karen Midthun, M.D., director of the Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research at the FDA, said in an agency statement. Another way it's different? The process of making it involves insect cells.
According to a FluBlok press release, the vaccine also does not contain preservatives, including the mercury-containing thimerosal. It is designed to protect against the H1N1, H3N2, both A strains and one B strain of the influenza virus, and is approved for people between ages 18 and 49. The safety of FluBlok was tested in a study of 2,300 people; common side effects included muscle aches, headache, fatigue and pain in the area the shot was administered (which the FDA noted are common symptoms for any kind of flu shot). It was found to be 44.6 percent effective against all strains of the flu, the FDA reported. A relatively small amount of the vaccine is expected to be available by this winter, the New York Times reported, though the FDA noted that the timing of the approval had nothing to do with the current flu outbreak. Protein Sciences Corp said that the vaccine would be largely available for the next 2013-2014 flu season.

North Carolina WakeMed Hospital Mandating Flu Vaccinations for Employees and Volunteers

Via: Wral
Beginning next fall, employees of the WakeMed hospital system will be required to get a flu shot as a condition of employment. Employees and volunteers will have to either provide proof of vaccination or an approved exemption. Those who can't get the vaccine will be required to wear masks during patient care. The policy change comes on the heels of a season that has seen the flu reach epidemic proportions nationwide. Nine North Carolina residents died of influenza last week in what is the deadliest week so far this season for the illness in the state, public health officials said Thursday. So far, 29 children and teens have died of the virus, more than a quarter of the annual average.
This year's season is earlier than normal and the dominant flu strain is one that tends to make people sicker. Flu usually doesn't blanket the country until late January or February, but it is already widespread in more than 40 states, including North Carolina. The government doesn't keep a running tally of adult deaths from the flu, but estimates that it kills about 24,000 people most years. “By immunizing our health care workers, we are not only protecting them, but we are taking the necessary steps to protect our patients from influenza,” said Dr. Chris Ingram, medical director of WakeMed Infection Prevention and Occupational Health.

Houston hospital Fires 'per diem' Workers for Refusing to get a Flu Shot

Via: ChronNews
If you've escaped the flu this year, you might thank tens of thousands of Houston hospital workers who got vaccinated for the public's sake. At The Methodist Hospital, which was among the nation's first hospitals to require flu shots for employees in 2009, the syringe action starts each August and is hard to miss, said spokeswoman Stefanie Asin.
A vaccination team sets up shop for a month at a table in the main lobby near the Starbucks booth to catch day-shift workers, and nurses can be found even in the middle of the night going through the hospital to search for unvaccinated employees on the night shift. "We take flu shots to meetings also," Asin said by email. "They are everywhere - that's how serious we are about it."
This season, about 280, or 2 percent, of Methodist's 14,000 employees were granted medical or religious exemptions from the vaccination, she said. Some employees have been fired for not getting a shot or an exemption, but they typically have been "per diem" employees who work as needed, she said.

90% of Whooping Cough Outbreak Involved Vaccinated Kids

Vermont has declared a statewide epidemic of whooping cough that started in 2012 and has continued into the year 2013. To date there has been a total of 612 confirmed cases of pertussis of which 90% have been vaccinated against the bacteria with the Tdap vaccine. The New England Journal of Medicine released a study that parallels this outbreak showing that of the confirmed cases of whooping cough the majored of them, 80%, had received multiple Tdap vaccinations most receiving 5 or 6 doses. The mainstream media have decided the only way to prevent the spread of the bacteria is to have everyone get their vaccinations refusing to acknowledge the overwhelming connection between vaccinated patients and outbreak victims. These vaccines have managed to damage and weaken the immune systems of children and adults leading to epidemic levels of fully vaccinated people becoming sick and contagious. With new vaccines and new medication hitting the market on a daily basis you would think we would have a population of healthy thriving individuals. Instead we have a growing number of childhood illness and chronic disorders that only makes the pharmaceutical companies more money. With the ultimate goal of turning people into patients and being healthy into a diagnosis how much longer will it be until these statistics are made public knowledge and an opt-in program for vaccinations is established? What is the accumulated damaged suffered in receiving multiple vaccinations that offer little if no protection at all? The powers that be want vaccinations to become synonymous with medication and now that they are admitting the vaccines wane over time eventually they will be promoted on a daily bases just like taking your vitamins and eating you’re breakfast. I can only imagine that in the near future the new world orders medical media minions will ask, “Have you had your morning vaccinations and medications?” Get all the research links here..

Veganism Could Qualify as Religious Belief for Vaccine Exemptions

Veganism Religious Vaccine Exemptions
Via: ChristianityToday
Recent headlines have noted the number of health workers refusing to get flu shots this year due to religious convictions. But in Ohio, chicken eggs—a little-known ingredient in manufactured flu vaccines—are causing a stir after a federal district court ruled that one vegan's refusal to ingest animal by-products—including eggs—could qualify as a religious belief. Sakile Chenzira filed suit against her former employer, Cinncinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, after the hospital fired her in 2010. Chenzira had refused to comply with a policy that requires employees to receive a flu vaccination on the basis of her vegan lifestyle.
According to the court, Chenzira argued that "such discharge violated her religious and philosophical convictions because she is a vegan, a person who does not ingest any animal or animal by-products, and that prior to 2010, Defendant accommodated her request to forgo the vaccine." The hospital attempted to dismiss Chenzira's claim, but the court denied the motion. The judge allowed the religious claims to proceed, finding that the "plaintiff could subscribe to veganism with a sincerity equating that of traditional religious views."

100's of Employees Fired for Refusing Flu Shots Ohio TriHealth

Stop Forced Inoculations
Via: Agbe
Hundreds are losing their jobs for refusing flu shots, but can employers legally force employees to get vaccinated? In some cases yes, others no. In Ohio, TriHealth required all employees to get flu shots by December 3, 2012, and has since fired more than 150 for non-compliance.
In Indiana, eight health care workers were fired last week for refusing the flu shot, and in the health care industry where the flu shot requirement is common, mandates have spread to include even accountants in the company. The trend of firing employees for refusing is being referred to as Flu Facism and lawsuits are beginning to be filed, particularly in at-will states. Just this week, a former customer service agent at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital has sued the hospital after being fired a few years back for refusing a flu shot as it violates her veganism, and a judge has ruled for the case to move forward, opining that veganism falls under the religious belief category. The debate rages on, and employers and employees should know their rights on a state level, as these are not the last lawsuits we will see regarding people losing their jobs for refusing the flu shot.
